I had the best experience at this shop. the shop itself was so gorgeous and very clean and cozy. i have never been happier with how a tattoo looks, Cien was absolutely amazing and was so patient with any and all modifications to the tattoo design beforehand. she was very careful and compassionate and had AMAZING attention to detail. if your going to this shop book with Cien, she is amazing!

About a little over a week ago my gf and I were in Saskatoon and decided to message StudioHon on Instagram to see if they had any walk-ins. Ever since I found out about the shop I’ve been dying to getting a tattoo from any of the artists, so I was super happy to find out they had walk-ins available.
I had such a memorable experience. Right away, everyone felt super welcoming and friendly. I felt I could trust anyone in that shop to tattoo either of us and that we’d both be happy with what we were leaving with. As someone who is very new to getting tattoos, I asked for input from Cien, my artist, on placement, and another artist gave input as well, and it never felt negative or judgmental, but I still got confident and helpful answers—overall, I felt so safe and respected by everyone around me, including the other clients that were there with us ! My gf and I were able to talk with other artists around us as well just for fun, about their or our interests and before I even left, I was already thinking about my next tattoo ideas just so I could come back. If you’re someone who’s new to getting tattoos, or even just someone looking for high quality tattoos, I highly recommend StudioHon. I know this review sounds very robotic but seriously… go to StudioHon.. they’re awesome and I can’t wait to go back. They also have snacks and drinks so you’re all set ! had the most lovely experience getting two extremely small fine line tattoos with Cien. I had just lost my lifetime best friend, my 17 year old dog, Benny, and it was the first time I left the house. Because of everything going on, although I knew what I wanted in the general sense, I had to look to Cien for guidance on sizing, placement, and the final stencil. I know I likely came off a bit wishy washy and unsure because I was emotionally drained yet she understood exactly what my desired outcome was and took the time and care to create such intricate tiny pieces with flawless precision. I have had a few other small pieces in the past and Cien has by far the most gentle tattooing I’ve experienced. I am actually afraid of needles and I truly felt almost no discomfort. It was clear Cien has a dedication to ensuring her art is top notch even when it is something more “generic” like what I asked for. I cannot put into words my appreciation to Cien for giving me these special reminders of my best friend so I didn’t have to go without having him with me forever. Thanks, Cien!

Also - the studio is beautiful, peaceful, bright, and extremely clean. They had a perfect playlist on that was just the right mix of energy and calm which made the experience even more lovely. I will certainly be recommending Studio Hon - in fact, the next day I was stopped by someone who wanted the details of my studio and artist after seeing my (still covered) wrist. The work speaks for itself.
